A note to all students and parents
My style of teaching is center-focused on students.
Different colleges emphasize on different topics and answering techniques for the students, sometimes the students can be confused with how they should tackle the exam questions.
For me, I do my best to help students alleviate the mental stress faced in college. First, to understand how their schools will mark / expect them to answer; and next, explaining to them what is beyond the “required” answer to give them a better overview of what is going on. Last, to always ask what questions they have in school that they still do not get it.
Chemistry, like any other Science, is an on-going learning process. Every other day, new discoveries are being made. Science is a very dynamic subject, and it is best learnt through active discussions and practice for the A level standard.
There is no short-cut route to excellent results in Chemistry. The results achieved is proportional to the real amount of effort made. I was a college student once hence I understand the amount of workload plus CCAs involved.
As such, I always try to make my lessons straight to the point to at least achieve the minimum required understanding.
However, if you want to get the As and Bs, it is more than just 3-months of crash course work. It takes constant exposure, discussion and practise to understand fully what Chemistry at A level is and to answer concisely to the point.
SO START EARLY. All you need is to get another friend, and form a group of two and you can start clearing any doubts with me. I do not believe in cramping your head with too much information ( i.e. memorizing without understanding), nor do I believe in giving homework if you don’t understand.
The aim of my lessons is to provide with you clearer information that your school cannot afford to spend the time to emphasize. So yes, I will emphasize or “nag” if I have to..just to get the point through you.
I will not say that everyone is comfortable with my style of teaching, so if you are not comfortable, please let me know. I am open to all opinions and final decisions.

Thanks for reading thus far, and sorry if I have been too long-winded
